Photogrammetry is the art, science and technology of obtaining reliable information about physical objects and the environment through the process of recording, measuring and interpreting photographic images and patterns of electromagnetic radiant imagery and other phenomena

With over a decade in the field, 604 Scans is at the forefront of high-end photographic and photogrammetry 3d Scans. Simply said, this technique uses large megapixel sensors and optics to turn the world around us into high-resolution and photo-realistic 3d objects! Although Photogrammetry was theorized as early as 1851 by Dominique François Jean Arago and first used in the first world war, it wasn’t until 100 years later that it has reached photographic quality.

Since 2013 we have researched the finer points of this technology, bringing partners Microsoft Vancouver, MLB Advanced Media, The Seattle Art Museum and Duke University along for the ride. Now with new processing techniques like Gaussian Splatting and NeRF, the bar on quality continues to be raised!
